Details of Challenge
Using a 5" x 5" work area on any fabric of your choice, create an original design that can be used as a hot plate/trivet.
Submit an image of your finished design to service@laydenwithstitches.4t.com by May 05, 2008. If you wish to share your design with other stitchers, you can include the pattern or your e-mail address so stitchers may contact you with their request. Images of designs will be displayed on Layden With Stitches.
This is an open thread where viewers may ask questions and view information. It is intended to help and inspire your creative talents. Please leave your comments, questions, and thoughts here to ensure the success of this challenge.

The Hot Plate/Trivet Challenge ran from January 5, 2008, - May 5, 2008.
There were no entries in the Challenge. Very Sad. Why do you think that is? Help on this would be very much appreciated.
